Question to keep in mind

Prepare Your Heart and Mind

Before you begin, take a moment to pray. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and clarity as you read. Approach the Bible with an open heart, ready to receive God’s word.

Set a Regular Schedule

Consistency is key. Set aside a specific time each day or week dedicated to studying Scripture.

Utilize Study Tools

Incorporate different study materials such as commentaries, notebooks, and dictionaries. One of my favorites is blueletterbible.org

Tips on Reading & Studying

Reflect and Meditate

After reading, spend time reflecting on what you’ve learned. Ask yourself how the passage applies to your life and what God might be saying to you through His Word. Meditate on key verses and memorize them for encouragement.

Ask Questions

Don’t hesitate to ask questions about passages that confuse you. Curiosity leads to growth.

Keep a Study Journal

Track your thoughts, prayers, and insights in a dedicated journal. Recording your journey not only helps retain information but also reflects your growth over time.

Studying the Bible is not only about knowledge; it’s about cultivating a relationship with God.
